These are latex masks that I made in my free time whilst studying for my GCSE's. I created these masks by first creating a sculpture out of plasticine and then created a mold for with plaster or crystacal. I then cast the masks in latex and depending on the mask I would add acrylic eyes and teeth. A lot of these masks were based on film prosthetics and other well known designs which meant I could showcase how accurate my work is to the reference. Many people inquired about buying the pieces but I declined as I was not happy with the quality at the time.

Advertising the Manchester Northern Quarter Poster
These are advertisements that I created for my client 'Creative Tourist' as part of my 'Advertising Manchester' photography project. These photographs were taken in the Manchester Northern Quarter and then edited of Photoshop.
This is a photograph I took in Manchester's Northern Quarter
and then edited in Photoshop by using colour selection tools to select the red
tones and desaturate the unselected image. I created this piece for a
photography project where I had to create posters for a client on advertising
Manchester. This project immediately interested me, as I have always loved the
music and street art that can be found in Manchester. I particularly like this image as it shows how
art can appear out of nowhere in the backstreets of a city. I tried to match
the colour of the text with the colours of the graffiti and I tried to use a
font that wasn't too similar to create some variety in the poster.
